Since the Home At Last Access program was instituted by the Nevada Rural Housing Authority in July 2012, the Rail City has been at the forefront of utilizing the program. Of the 528 families in Nevada helped by the program over the last year, 155 of those have been in Sparks — 32 percent of the total participants.
