Washoe County begins flu immunizations

RENO — Last week, the Washoe County Health District began administering flu immunizations and will continuing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The immunizations will be given at the Washoe County Health District, located at 1001 E. Ninth St., Building B, in Reno.

The Washoe County Health District offers immunizations for all ages. Appointments are now required for immunizations. Call 328-2402 from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday to make an appointment. Appointments can be made up to a week in advance. The phone line will be open each Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until all appointment slots for the next week have been filled.
