RENO — On Friday, Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) will host its ninth annual General Education Development (GED) graduation ceremony. The ceremony will recognize more than 100 students who have completed the program, as their family and friends congratulate them on their accomplishment.

The GED program at TMCC is part of a federally funded Adult Basic Education program, which provides basic literacy and education classes in listening, speaking, reading, writing and mathematics.

The ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. in the V. James Eardler Student Center at TMCC’s Dandini Campus.
