RENO — The Goddard School located at 8650 Technology Way in Reno hosted a pet food drive benefiting the Nevada Humane Society during the week of Sept. 13.

During this week, families were asked for donations of cat, kitten, dog and puppy food.

“The generosity of our families was wonderful and the children really enjoyed dropping the food into our donation boxes,” said Chelli Motherway, co-owner of the local Goddard School. “We delivered approximately 400 pounds of pet food to the Nevada Humane Society.”

The Goddard School in Reno opened in September 2008 and is owned and operated by Chelli and Ryan Motherway. The school accommodates 138 children 6 weeks to 6 years old.
