Booksale Bonanza has more than 100,000 books representing every category — fiction and non-fiction, children’s, large-print and cookbooks — with prices starting at just 50 cents for pocketbooks and $1 for hardbacks. The sale also includes CDs, DVDs, VHS and audio tapes and vinyl records. The special bargain area features hardback fiction books for 50 cents. VHS and audio books are just 25 cents. Books from the previous year are priced at just $6 and rare and collectible books are individually priced.
Friends of Washoe County Library is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that recycles 100 tons of books each year through book sales and donations to local schools and non-profits and gives back more than $100,000 to local libraries.
