A 20-year-old Sparks man has been arrested on multiple charges of statutory seduction, convincing at least three girls around age 15 to have sex with him.

Nathan Porter was arrested on Thursday on two additional counts of statutory seduction; he was previously arrested on Oct. 18 on one count of the crime but was since released.

He is being held at the Washoe County Jail and his bail has been set at $10,000 cash. Sparks police Detective Rocky Triplett said in a release that the bail amount was due to the number of victims.

In October, Sparks police detectives conducted an investigation that revealed Porter had consensual sex with a 15 year old female in Sparks. Sparks police were notified when the victim’s mother came to the front desk and filed a report that her juvenile daughter was having sex with an adult male.  This initial investigation also revealed Porter was having sexual relations with at least two other female juveniles from the Sparks/Reno area.  One of the victims was 14 years old and the other was 15 years old at the time.  

On Thursday, detectives again arrested Porter on two more counts of statutory sexual seduction.  These arrests stemmed from information gathered from the initial arrest, Triplett said.  

Porter has reportedly been seen near Reed and North Valleys high schools on a regular basis.  He drives a red 2005 four-door Dodge Neon with Nevada license plates.  The investigation continues at this time due to there being more victims possible.
