SPARKS — The Regional Sex Offender Notification Unit (RSONU) is informing the public about a Tier III (high-risk) sex offender.
James Darrin Brent, 47, has been assessed as a Tier III offender by the Nevada Sex Offender Registry. He has notified the Sparks Police Department that he will be living in the 1300 block of York Way and is not currently employed. Brent is in compliance with all sex offender laws, is not wanted by law enforcement and is not being supervised by the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
