Gabby Williams scored 27 points and Tyler Sumpter chipped in 21 but it wasn't enough as the Reed girls basketball team fell 71-67 to Sacramento High School on the final day of the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix.

Reed grabbed a 25-14 lead at the end of the first period but could not pull away. Sacramento outscored Reed 18-10 in the second quarter, trimming Reed's lead to 35-32 by halftime.

Sac High put up 22 more points in the third and took a 54-52, heading into the final quarter. The northern California power barely edged Reed 17-15 in the last eight minutes of play to capture the four-point victory.

Reed sits 6-2 on the season.
