SPARKS — Police are looking for two men who kicked in the front doors of two different houses.

At about 10 p.m. Saturday, Sparks police officers responded to the report of a possible door-kick burglary in the 3700 block of Deutz Drive. Officers learned from the homeowner that one suspect, and perhaps more, had kicked in the front door of his home and then fled the scene. No attempt to enter the home was made.

When officers were finishing that call, they were approached by another nearby resident who said he had been a victim of a similar incident. This residence was in the 6900 block of Krug Court.

A third attempt was made at a home on Perseus Drive, but no damage resulted. Due to the proximity of the three addresses, police believe that all three incidents are related.

Police obtained video evidence and said the suspects appear to be juveniles or young adults, both male probably between 16 and 20 years of age with slender builds and dark hair.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact Sparks police detectives at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
