RENO — No one was hurt in a fire in a mobile home early Sunday morning.

At 12:42 a.m., Reno firefighters responded to a structure fire at an unoccupied single-wide mobile home at the Keystone RV Park, 1457 W. Fourth St.

The residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Other residents in the mobile home park called 911 to report the fire. No injuries were reported.

“Prior to our first engine arriving, the fire had already vented through the roof and windows,” Battalion Chief Sandy Munns said in a statement. “Firefighters were able to quickly knockdown the fire and save nearby homes.”

The fire caused extensive damage to the mobile home. A preliminary estimate for damages has not been set. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
