RENO — Reno Mayor Bob Cashell and Sparks Mayor Gino Martini have challenged each other to compete in the inaugural Corporate Pinewood Derby on May 24 at Reno Toyota. As a benefit for the Nevada Area Council of Boy Scouts of America, the race happens on the official Boy Scouts pinewood derby race track and features prizes for top competitors. Companies across the area are encouraged to join in the fun as entrants are placed in either an open or category division with competition between businesses in the same sector including legal, healthcare, automotive, media and real estate. Registration is open now with forms and race kits available for pick-up at Reno Toyota through May 18. For more information, visit
