Tunstall’s nationwide tour supports her new album, “Tiger Suit,” which was recorded in January at Berlin’s world-famous Hansa Studios, was released on Oct. 5 and is the beginning of a new musical adventure for Tunstall. “Tiger Suit” uses organic instrumentation blended with dance-friendly textures, a style now called “nature techno,” which describes the raw and sleek electronic textures combined in the album.
“Tiger Suit” was produced by Jim Abbiss, who is known for his work with Arctic Monkeys, Adele, Kasabian, The Editors and other bands. Tunstall co-wrote many of the tracks on the album with A-list songwriters and producers, including Linda Perry, Greg Kurstin, Martin Terefe and Jimmy Hogarth.
Tunstall has performed on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” NPR’s “World Café” program, the Yahoo! blog Maximum Performance and CBS/Last.FM’s Summer Concert Series. The first single off “Tiger Suit,” “Fade Like A Shadow,” is in the Top 20 at Triple A radio.
The show is all ages and doors open at 7 p.m. Ticket prices range from $18.50 for general admission to $45 for reserved box seating. For tickets or more information, visit http://re.knittingfactory.com.
