SPANISH SPRINGS — Two adults and two minors were arrested early Sunday morning in connection with several acts of graffiti vandalism and a vehicle burglary.

Sparks residents Jason Lopez and Nathan Twohearts, both 19, were taken into custody along with two 17-year-old males.

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office received a report of several subjects with spray-paint cans at 1:16 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Blue Skies Drive. Deputies located and detained four subjects. Lopez and Twohearts were arrested and taken to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility’

Lopez and Twohearts were booked on 10 counts of destruction of property, 10 counts of unlawful defacing of property, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one felony charge of promoting gang activity. Their bail has been set at $32,425 each.

In addition, the two juveniles were booked into the Jan Evans Juvenile Detention Center on similar charges. Their names are being withheld because they are under the age of 18.

The sheriff’s office expects additional charges to be filed as the investigation continues.
