For anyone with an interest in firearms engraving and custom made guns this is a must-see show. There will be plenty of fine custom engraved guns on display.
The exhibition continues to grow each year. It started with about 25 exhibitors, and has grown to nearly 100.
The art of hand engraving and embellishing weapons is one of the oldest artistic pursuits of mankind. Many of the works of art that will be on display at the show have taken hundreds of hours to complete, and can be worth thousands of dollars. FEGA has some of the finest hand engravers in the world keeping this art form alive.
Modern hand engravers still employ the same techniques and tools that previous generations used to engrave firearms. From scrollwork to fine gold inlays, you will find that the methods used today are the same as several hundred years ago.
Whether you want to come enjoy these works of art, or you’d like to have a firearm, knife, or piece of jewelry engraved, come on in and check out the show.
The event will take place during the weekend of Friday, Jan. 25 from 12 to 7 p.m. The event opens Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Pavilion Rooms at The Nugget. The cost is $20 per person.
