RENO — Cornerstone Retirement Group will host its first Redefining Retirement Forum to educate pre-retirees and retirees on how to properly plan for retirement. The northern-Nevada based full-service financial planning firm has partnered with Woodburn and Wedge, the Bosma Group to bring together a panel of local industry experts to discuss the most commonly ignored factors when planning for retirement. The expo will take place from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on May 24 at the Nevada Museum of Art.

The keynote speakers will be Chris Abts, president of Cornerstone Retirement Group, Don Ross of Woodburn and Wedge, Mike Bosma of the Bosma Group, and Geoff Frazier of Global Financial Private Capital. John Seelmeyer, editor of Northern Nevada Business Weekly will moderate the insightful discussion between industry experts.

Topics will include the current state of the market, tax reduction strategies and planning, trust and estate planning and investing into the future.
