To bolster his case against the Sequester, Obama trotted out his background chorus of LaHood, Napolitano and Duncan. All three predicted dire consequences in their respective fields of Aircraft, Homeland Security and Education. In fact, during the discourse, Napolitano seemed to enter that never-never land recently vacated by Hillary Clinton when she was taken by surprise at the fact that illegal immigrants were being liberated from prison. Just as Clinton didn’t know what was going on in the State Department regarding Benghazi, Napolitano seemed oblivious to what was happening in her post.
Rather than sit down with the Republicans to try and hammer out a compromise, Obama opted to do a series of campaign-like appearances with a traditional backdrop posed behind him.
Eventually, the Sequester occurred but it has caused very little impact up to this date. Even Obama himself tried to walk back from his early dire predictions. Secretary Duncan also joined him when he misspoke on the number of pink slips that have been sent out to teachers.
The most egregious action of the Obama administration to date was the announcement that the White House would be closed to public tours (due to the Sequester) starting on March 9. It was quickly noted by keen Washington observers that most of the tours are conducted by volunteers, who receive no compensation for their work. As a mild riposte, Congress is considering a Bill that would cancel funding for the President’s “golfing trips” such as the recent one to Florida that cost taxpayers some two million dollars.
Whatever discomforts the average American may feel in the future due to the Sequester reductions, they should be very minimal since the so-called “cuts” are only a fraction of the total expenditure for the coming year.
Since the Sequester uproar started, the President’s approval numbers have taken a drastic tumble. Whether or not this recent imbroglio will spur the President to work with Congress in order to achieve a realistic compromise is a moot point. Rather than sit in meetings with legislators, Obama has been frequently criticized for jumping on Air Force One and staging orchestrated rallies around the country.
Now a black cloud is appearing on the political horizon with the news that anyone contributing $500,000 to a shadow group is guaranteed four face-to-face meetings with the President.

“In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell mother I made faces during Quranic studies,” wrote Obama.
I won't refute that Obama claims to be a Christian. But the church that Obama went to for 20 years taught "Black Liberation Theology" which is a completely different theology than that which is taught in mainstream Christianity.
And, no true Christian would advocate for the murdering of unborn babies. Just ask Pope Francis I

The fiat nature of the current Dow Jones Average, in any event, would underscore the points made in an op-ed piece in this morning’s Wall Street Journal. In it the economist John Taylor argues that the Fed’s quantitative easing has not only failed to fix the economic problem but that it has been an actual drag on the recovery. For, among other reasons noted by Mr. Taylor, the Fed’s easing enables government over-spending, delays the writing off of bad bank loans, and hurts private lending the way rent control reduces the supply of housing.
_______________
Quantitative easing is "Fiat Money", making the DOW at 14,000 nothing more than a product of inflation. The economy is not improving, we are being inundated with "Fiat Money" due to several rounds of "Quantitative Easing", which could very well lead to unchecked inflation in the coming months.
Definition of 'Fiat Money'
Currency that a government has declared to be legal tender, despite the fact that it has no intrinsic value and is not backed by reserves. Historically, most currencies were based on physical commodities such as gold or silver, but fiat money is based solely on faith.

Al Qaeda finds new stronghold in rugged mountains of Mali as it regroups in Africa
Published March 03, 2013
The terrorist groups are believed to be behind a month-old insurgency in Mali, which the government is fending off with help from France, which seeks to protect the interests of mining and energy companies in the region. But experts believe the effort is part of a larger bid to destabilize northern Africa, where Al Qaeda is regrouping after fighting American-led Western allies for more than a decade in the Middle East. Extremists vow the mountain refuge will ultimately be worse for their enemies than the decade-long struggle in Afghanistan.
Obama is inadvertently the quintessential "sacred clown" . . . http://clown.kachina.us/index.htm
In the Hopi tradition, the Sacred Clown Kachina frequently disrupts and makes a holy mess out of some of the most vital and fundamental rituals. The clown satirizes Hopi life by acting out and exaggerating improper behavior. Many times the actions of the clowns are meant to portray a lesson on behavior apparent in a tribal member. Their purpose is to show how overdoing anything is bad not only for the individual but for the people as a whole as well.
First President Obama is a christian but he is also a muslim. Of course there is no evidence for that unless his name makes him a muslim. Wasn't there a whole bunch of hysterical republicans whining about Obama attending a church that was led by a Reverend Wright?
The confusion continues. Despite Obama being a socialist, our economy is improving, the Dow hit 1400, unemployment is down, housing starts and home prices are up, and public sector employment has never been lower. All, despite republican obstruction.
Obama is supposed to be weak and an apologist. Yet he got Bin Laden and terrorists are on the run. Yet, the chicken hawks aren't happy because he doesn't embrace the practice of torture and doesn't put American sons and daughters into another manufactured war.
He wants a balanced approach in addressing the deficit (thanks to GW and his policies)and avoid the type of stagnant economy that austerity in europe now enjoys.
But no! We can't tax billionaires at Reagan era tax rates. We can't close loop holes and off shore accounts that the 1% benefit from. So now it looks like that socialistic european austerity is now a good thing to deep thinking republicans.
I don't know about Hopi traditions, but I see "sacred clowns" everyday. Their names escape me but I see them on Fox News. And everyone knows that they are never confused and they are never wrong.
