SPARKS — Auditions will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday for “Spotlight on Talent,” a fundraising show for Sierra School of Performing Arts.

Auditions are open to everyone 10 years and older. Those auditioning should come prepared to perform whatever act, song, monologue, scene, duet or comedy piece they plan to do in the show. Solos, duets, musical scenes and dance acts, short (up to three minutes) acting scenes, singing ensembles, stand-up comedy and pantomimes are eligible to audition. If you need musical accompaniment, please bring your CD or iPod with you to the audition. There will not be a piano at the theater. You may bring an instrument to accompany you. Please bring a headshot, resume and audition form (signed by a parent if you are a minor) to the audition.

“Spotlight on Talent” will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. April 29 at Cargo inside CommRow in downtown Reno. The evening will include a silent auction, raffle prizes, a no-host bar and incredible entertainment. Emceed by Reno’s own CeCe Gable, “Spotlight on Talent” will feature singers, dancers, actors and more.

Sunday’s auditions will be held at Sparks Methodist Church, 1231 Pyramid Way.
