“I encourage more people to take advantage of this free screening, considering the surprising number of people who were tested at the last event, and were unaware they were diabetic or prediabetic,” Dr. Sasse said. “Providing a free screening means significantly fewer people in our community will have to suffer from the complications of diabetes in the future.”
People interested in receiving a free screening can stop by the open house and get blood drawn to measure the Hemoglobin A1C, no appointment needed. Results will be provided by Dr. Sasse’s office the following Monday, Oct. 28.
The event will take place at Dr. Sasse’s office in Renown Center for Advanced Medicine C, located at 75 Pringle Way, Suite 804. The test is free, a $150 value. For more information on the event, call 829-7999.
