RENO — At 10 a.m. Saturday, the Reno Rodeo Parade will start. More than 160 entries, including local non-profit organizations and 16 performance equestrian drill teams will be participating in the parade. Each local non-profit organization is a recipient of Reno Rodeo Foundation funds and will have a float entry in the parade. Parade results will be made available by Saturday afternoon.

The parade will travel north on Virginia Street beginning in the area of Liberty Street, turning east onto Commercial Avenue and back north onto Center Street, ending at Fifth and Center streets. Reno Host Lions Club will be offering a Pancake Breakfast at 7 a.m. on Virginia Street for $7.

The staging area will be the courthouse parking lot. The horse-mounted entries will be escorted from the Reno Livestock Events Center at Sadlier Way down to Valley road to Sixth Street to Lake Street to Pine Street, to enter onto Virginia Street and the Washoe County Courthouse parking lot for staging from 7:30 to 10 a.m.
